Our brief for this project was to use English, Afrikaans and IsiZulu words and phrases to bring a some what dull corridor to life. In collaboration with the staff of the School Brenda & Wayne came up with a creative solution to do just that. A continuous board of motivational sayings was also included to incorporate and blend into the 3 Focal Walls.
Part 2 of the project was to carry on this positive motivation through to the Amphitheater. This was successfully completed with some famous quotes of some well know people. The schools image and colours were brought through by using a blue back ground and gold/yellow wording.
As an extension of work we carried out in the Media Center’s girls bathroom, we also extended the uplifting quotes into the boys bathroom. To be honest, the entire project emanated from completing the girls bathroom.
We had absolute fun doing this and it was so gratifying to be able “to reach out” to all the children who are going to enjoy the fruits of our creative ” fun filled labour “………
